Is there a way to use a Dual Link DVI port to support 2+ monitors on one physical DVI port?

I was looking at a laptop that has a 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT, it says on the nVidia site that it supports Dual link so i was hoping i could use that to have 2 monitors off my phone laptop DVI port.

If not is there any other way to have more than one external monitor on a laptop?

thank you
Lawrence

Dual Link DVI refers to the amount of data being sent over the connection (single link for lesser resolution monitors, dual link for greater resolution monitors), not the number of devices you can connect.

There is a way to connect to single DVI port to multiple monitors, however. It's called the Matrox DualHead2Go or TripleHead2Go.
