ASUS P7P55D Motherboard
Intel Core i5 3.2GHz Dual-Core with Hyper Threading
Sapphire Radeon HD6850 1024MB GDDR5
Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200.12
4GB of OCZ 1600MHz RAM

Just wondering. Thanks. I always thought that some systems only supported the newer OS, like Vista/7.

Yours will be fine with XP, two potential problems:
1) XP can only run DX9 and below; W7 runs up to DX11, and your video card is DX11-capable, so you would lose that, and only run DX9.
2) If you ever decide to run multiple HDDs in RAID, XP requires a FDD OR you have to to slipstream your board's RAID drivers onto your custom XP install disk (nLite is a free, easy-to-use program for that).

Well, if I decided to use 8GB of RAM... wouldn't I only be able to ACTUALLY use 3.5GB of it?
