i've been using nvidia for some time now and am making the change to ati , i was wondering if the sli connector is different to the ati crossfire's one , i didn't get a gcard bridge with my mobo so i' guessing ati release them in the gcard box , so my question is can i use the nvidia sli bridge on a ati multi gpu config ? and are the bridges a straight connect ?
I would guess no, (they may come with the cards though)
I wonder if there is a place that sells these things ? I cannot imagine that they would be very expensive.
SLI connectors come with the motherboard.
CrossFire connectors come with the GPU's.
I do not think you can use SLI connectors in a SLI setup.
