Hi, which processor should i go with Q6600 or E8500 theyr both the same price on new egg.
Im not plannin to overclock or anything like that.

Also what is manufacturing tech (on cpu specs) and wats the difference between 45nm and 65nm?

Toss-up. Quad might be more future proof. Until applications arrive that utilize multi-cores a fast dual core will perform best. Today you still see a lot of people buy the E8500 and overclock it to play demanding games.
