I currently have a broken Geforce 7950GT 512mb gddr2 and 2gigs of pc6400 ddr2 800mhz ram.

I'm kind of on a budget and I only play at lower resolutions of like 1280x1024.

What is a gooood performing video card that will last me awhile for me to upgrade to?

my specs

e6850 duo core 2 3.0 ghz
2gb pc6400 ddr2 800mhz
geforce 7950gt 512mb gddr2 (need to upgrade!)
nforce 650i ultra non sli mobo
windows xp pro
ultra 600 watt ATX psu

I really just want a good video card upgrade and maybe some more ram. What do you guys think? Thanks

I was looking at nice G92 video cards and stuff idk
help
thanks

No my budget has changed I am going for less then what I wanted, I don't need super high budget graphics cards, I need mid-ranger-high end now, I don't have that much to spend most being 400ish for upgrades.

I was thinking getting

8800 GTS G92 512MB GDDR3

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR2_SDRAM SDRAM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SDRAM DDR2 800

Is that video card a good upgrade from my old 7950GT 512mb ddr2? And since I want 4gb of ram and I am running XP Pro now will it run ok

Oh you don't know? What a liar.
This guy has made over 20 posts on the same question in the last two weeks that together have received over 540 replies. It is very sad but he is just playing a lot of kind people who think they are spending some time helping someone but who really are just being played for his personal enjoyment. Very sad.
