Hey all

Am currently in the process of building a new gaming machine. Nothing high end, just better then what I have atm. I was looking at getting the Zalman CNPS9500 but after looking on the site apparently it's not compatible with my motherboard (ASUS P5Q-Pro). The CPU I'm putting in is the Q6600 which I am taking from my old comp.

What cooler you rekon I should use?

There will be some OC'ing and the case is a Antec 900.

Regards
Brad

i have the Zalman CNPS9700-NT nVidia Tritium CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)   I got it cheepp of a mate it's a bit tricky to fit because you have to remove the mobo. it keeps my e8500 at about idel 37 degrees lode 52 degrees and it is at 3.8 but i dont no if that is good d: one thing about the A.C freezzer 7 pro is that it is very quiet

+<9000 for the xigmatek. I have it in my build. I would also recommend the crossbow Backplate. Since you have a socket 775 this one will fit. It's very quiet.

XIGMATEK HDT-S963 this is the CPU cooler itself
XIGMATEK ACK-I7751 This is the bracket that does a good job holding it in place

I recommend going to Newegg for what ever you need

Awesome, thanks for the help guys.

Only 1 problem is I'm an Aussie and Newegg doesn't ship outside of the States! but least I know what to look for now. Thanks again.
