When I say cheap, I mean inexpensive. This is just going to be a home server.

I have a 2 Unit rack case, and I'm looking to put a motherboard/chip in it. It has horizontal expansion card slots.

What's available out there. I'd love under $100 for the board, though I'd be willing to go up to $200.

I saw risers like this:

Are those for specific mobo types? Or can you use them with any motherboards?
