Is it possible to put 2 single GPU waterblocks (such as this http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swmcvgacowim.html) on an x2 card such as the 4870x2? i mean the both have two 4 hole mounting brackets for single waterblocks (http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=605&type=expert&pid=3 5th pic down) so is it possible for two single blocks on a double card?

Short answer, no. The reason for this is there is not enough clearance between the cards to utilize 2 seperate waterblocks. I suggest looking on http://www.frozencpu.com/ for a true X2 waterblock.

Ummm... the 4870x2 is a SINGLE card with 2 gpu's, no?

Having looked at a few pix, 2 blocks should be fine.

Yeah 2 blocks should work perfectly.
Unless the true waterblocks take care of the ram aswell?
