I don't care much about looks and this seemed like a functional case at a good price.

I'm interested in any cheap upgrades you might know of, or places I can downgrade a little bit and not lose much (if any) performance.

If you're not planning on going with dual graphics cards, you could step back to a P45 board instead of the X48. Also, I don't think you need a 750W PSU to handle that hardware, you could probably get away with a good 600W or so.

Went from 750w to 650w Corsair.

Changed RAM to the C.Skills

Thanks for the Powercolor Tip! Changed that.

Changed Burner $1 for 2x more power! Thanks for the tip!

How is this for a MOBO that is more suited to my needs. Definitely seeing the light that the rampage was way more than I needed:
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

That puts my build $10 under the original Budget, and a whopping $90 under after MIR! Thanks guys for saving me some green!
