i have an 2 asus 4850's and then don't overclock well at all.. pretty much no overclock is possible.. it it because i heatsink is not covering the vrm's/memory chips? would covering those in heatsinks allow me to overclock?
i think part of the reason why i cant overclock is cuz of crossfire but im not sure.. anyone know?
I have a HIS 4870 1gig and i can get 840/850 core if it stays cool and i cant go past 1000mem and even that isn't stable 24/7. i really does depend but i would go from stock to so 825core, 975mem. Its a decent increase and also on the safe side, so long as you keep an eye on the temps.
