will widows7 work on my dell 512 ran

Go to Dell.com, go to support. Find your system number on the case, do a search for drivers using that. If they have Windows 7 drivers, then yes. If they have Vista Drivers, maybe. XP or lower, probably not or at least not without some issues.

You should also upgrade your RAM to 1 gig or more even if you don't install Win 7. Win 7 will not run well on 512meg or RAM, nor does XP.

Dear customer the actual requirment to have window 7 in the computer is minimum 2gb RAM & 20gb harddrive.
