PowerDVD 7.3 and TMT 3 can't play blu-ray with this setup:

- Gigabyte GA-890GX-UD3H
- AMD X6 1090T
- On-board ATI HD 4290 or GeForce 8600GS PCI-E
- Windows XP SP3

My previous build had no such problem:

- Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
- Intel C2D E4300
- GeForce 8600GS PCI-E
- Windows XP SP3

Does this have anything to do with AMD chipset as oppsed to Intel? Thanks.

Just as a casual observer with an AMD based system, yes, AMD chipsets will play Blu-Ray movies.

I use Power DVD version 7.03.5710 on my 32 bit XP Pro and a newer version on my X64.

I must use the DVI to HDMI adapter that came with my ATI video card and it passes sound too.
