Hi, I installed Windows XP Pro 64-bit on a friends computer. after the clean install the computer is unable to access the internet because there is no Network Driver. The computer is a Compaq Presario http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compaq_Presario SR1950NX. Please I really need help getting his computer to work.

Hi quitoman, it sounds like you need some motherboard drivers.

tried installing those drivers but it gives me an error. hold and let me find out what the error says exactly

If you have an open PCI slot a good solution would be an intel network card.
