Xp wont boot from hard drive first time

Hello,
my xp windows re boots from dvd drive after shut down ,turn off reboot loads from hard drive, gone into bios change ist boot hard drive and save.
but next time reboots from dvd again
help

Make the hard drive the first boot device, and disable all the other boot devices.

If the above suggestion does not work, try changing something minor in the BIOS, turn the computer off for a while and the next time you reboot see if the change stayed. If it did not you may have a problem with your BIOS maintaining its settings.
