Upgrading my motherboard and memory worth it?

My current specs are as followed:

Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz w/Tuniq 120
abit IP35-E mobo
8800GT 512 @700
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Modded Antec 900 case
Corsair 620HX

Was wondering if upgrading my motherboard and memory would be worth it or if I should just wait till I want to upgrade my cpu to the newer FSB. Will i really see that big of an improvement if I did upgrade? Personally I feel as if it wont, and i should just drop the money into a new graphics card, but any opinions would be nice. Also if you think a new mobo / memory is a good choice some suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

new card...........gtx 260. I own a 4870/512 card. It's not worth it.

If you mean the i7 chip and DDR3, I'd save the money and get that setup. I wouldn't bother upgrading your present mobo and CPU with another 775 socket CPU unless you found a really good deal.

I have a 4870/512 with a QX9650 and I think it does a great job. But I don't think that either it or a GTX 260 would be worthwhile in your case. The slight gain in performance over your 8800 GT/512 probably wouldn't be worth the money spent.

Just my 2 cents worth.
