How can I get a IDE dvd drive to work with my SATA HDD, someonee told i should place the jumper in different slot well i tried that didnt work i put it in every slot and tried, but it works cause i can open the tray can someone please help me so i can finally lauch my first pc build

What problems are you having? You should be able to set the dvd drive's jumper to either cable-select or master and you're good to go.

just set the dvd drive to master and connect your HDD to on of the SATA ports on your mobo and you should be fine
