If you want to be able to upgrade to two video cards, take this one instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139006

I suggest you go with a WD Caviar drive. The best performing drive at a great price is this one, but you can go to a lower size if you want:

Better burner: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827151173

With 4GB of RAM, you probably want a 64-bit.

Now the big question: Do you really want Nvidia over ATI? ATI is dominating the market right now, and with ATI you can use Intel chipsets which perform a lot better. Here's a nice combo deal:

I would also question the choice of an nVidia motherboard and GPU - why not go with a P35/P45 or X38/X48 and get a 4850 or 4870 for the same price (or less) and with better performance.

Agreed about the OS, and the final comment about ATI.

change mobo, the 680i is not very good. +1 for huron.

Wow, quick response =). Totally agree about the hard drive, OS, and burner. As for the CPU cooler, I don't see much of a difference between the two, so If you had any reasons why the XIGMATEK is better, I would love to hear 'em.

About the choice of nVidia over ATI, I'm not really sure what to do. I'm not really sure that the ATI card will be better than the 9800GTX, but I haven't done this before. The 9800 also comes with COD4 for free, so thats $50-$60 off.

Again, I'm not really seeing the differences between the coolers and the mobo/gpu, so any info would be greatly appretiated

Oh, and Shadowthor, what other nvidia mobo would you recommend. I know the 680i isn't top of the line, but I don't need the tri sli of higher end models.
