Okay so i just recieved all my parts from newegg yesterday. After finishing my build, i turned it on and found three red lights on my 4870, and my monitor got no signal.

I went to sleep, then when I woke up, the computer would not even turn on. The green LED on the MoBo is on, but taht is always on when there is power

After some research i discovered that i forgot to put in the 4 pin connector near the CPU, which should fix my 3 lights problem. (Note, i pulled off a tab next to the 4 pin connector so that it's 8 pins so that my cable would go in.

Now, can someone please help me on why it won't turn on :( Is there a way to turn on with something other than power switch? I've got that plugged in correctly anyways, and was working yesterday.

Whoever helps me get my comp up and running get's $5 USD from my PayPal... i'm really desperate because i don't want my 7 day return policy to run out.

I think the most likely cause is power supply failure but that would be horrible :(

Even though the green LED is on inside the case I read somewhere that that does not indicate that the power supply is fine.

I will still offer the $5 to anyone who can fix it without replacing pwoer supply because i'm not 100% sure that's the prob
