Ok so I just downloaded the lastest AMD Overdrive 3.0.2 driver for my Phenom II X4 940 CPU and I'm a little confused on how to use it. I've read and watched some ppl show how to use the program and from what I can tell the best way to overclock your system with it still remaining stable, cool, ect... is by using the "Auto Clock" function under Performance control. Is this what I should use to overclock my system if I'm a No0b at doing this?

well i overclock in bios. raise the mulitplier, voltages and bus speed in increments and test if the temps are normal and system is stable.

you can do the same thing in the AOD. i personally never tested the auto clock function.
