I have an averatec 3150H laptop (now running xp pro) and an SMC 2635W 11mbps 2.4 GHz cardbus adaptor. It *connects* in the loosest sense of the word to my xmicro 11mbps router. I get 50% or worse packet loss, even when right next to the router. Tried it in an old 800MHz toshiba laptop, had no problems and no packet loss. Im thinking there's some kind of incompatibility here. any ideas?
