More Information

hello all, my noobness will shine through here, but I'm trying to confirm something...

If I get this graphics card with DVI out: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814121231

and this monitor which takes HDMI in: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824176090

is this the right kind of converter cable to use? (male to male): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6812189128

Since I have your attention I suppose I'll also ask if anyone sees anything incompatible in this setup, and if the monitor will work right from the get-go when setting up from the bios (i.e. no driver issues). i have a laptop, so I don't have another monitor.

thanks in advance
