In Microsoft Word 2003 when I type a sentence the second line begins with a capililization of the first word, even though it is in the middle of a sentence. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you pressing enter to go to the second line? If you do this it will capitalise it. You need to just keep on typing or press Tab or the space bar
