Hello,
I have been having a number of frustrating issues with my home built computer that have been driving me crazy for a long time. The main issue is my main hardrive keeps corrupting itself, causing errors in windows and freezing. I have tried changing the hardrive that I use for windows and multiple reformats and such, and just keeps happening. The only way to get windows to run normally is to use recovery console to repair the hdd. At the worst, i have to do this once a week. At best once a month. I dont know how to tell if the motherboard is the real issue. I believe my system specs are in my signature, if not I will post them later.
If it is recommended to get a new motherboard, what would you recommend? Also, how hard is it to replace a motherboard? I dont want to break anything in the process. Thanks!
