Hey guys, I got a Gigabyte MA790GXDS4H. I'm planing to run a Phenom 9950 Black Edition on it and overclock my system. I've been looking at DDR2-800 and DDR2-1066. The mobo supports up to DDR2-1066. But, I was wondering if it would be a better idea to go with ddr2-800 since i'm going to be overclocking anways. Would DDR2-1066 have any room for overclocking since my mobo only goes supports up to 1066?

DDR2-1066 timmings are mostly 5-5-5-15 while DDR2-800 are 4-4-4-12. I'd go with DDR2 as you won't be OC'ing that much on the AMD.

They're both DDR2, what do you mean?
