I recently bought the msi 790gx- gd 70 mobo and the phenom ii 955 be, i know the cpu can run 3.8 stable on air and i was wondering how i could go about overclocking the cpu? iv never done this before but i have oc my gpu many times but never messed with ocing a cpu so a guide would be super nice, or the safe volts/clock speeds/ or anything else i need to change or know would be greatly appreciated.

Doubtful on 3.8Ghz on air. Depends on if you get a good chip. A 3.6Ghz on air is common.
