Get the Razr Death adder or logitech G5 mouse, change the case to an Antec 900 or RC-690. The motherboard is really bad for crossfire/sli because it's only x8. Get the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128336

You've got me stumped. Only by shaving some $$ here and there and lowering the quality of the build can i get a better case and a power supply for crossfire with 4870s to work.
Antec 300 is $70
Coolermaster 590 or 690 are $70 or $80
Corsair 750w or Silverstone 750w are $99 after rebate.
Good luck

I seem to say this a lot to people. It is so worth that extra $ you spend on a 4870. The 4870 is a gigantic step over the 4850.

If you save some money anywhere I recommend you upgrade to it straight away. I think two 4850s in crossfire is such a waste when there is the 4870 which still would offer more performance.

E8400, XIGMATEK S1283 (+bolt in), WD 640GB, ATI 4870(you might be able to save cost with a 4850 here) looks good.

I noticed that you don't have a PSU listed. You WILL need a good quality PSU to power that 4870.

For no CrossFire build I recommend:
PC Power & Cooling 610
Corsair 650

For CrossFire:
PP&C 750
Corsair 750

That's a nice build. I'm also about to pull the trigger on an almost identical one minus the monitor but I've been waiting to get the latest news on the E8600. After reading this review, you might want to wait a week or two as Intel wil be streamlining all of their Wolfdale chips to match the 8600's E0 stepping which will increase it's oc'ability, require less power etc...
