Ok, I have been playing LOTRO and on ocassion my whole computer would just freeze up and make a repeated brbrbrbrbrbrbr sound thru the speakers until I pressed and held the power button till it shutdown. Someone I was talking to said it sounded like I had a bad overclock going and the game did not like it.
So... Today like the 1d10t I am I overclocked the system some more... Now when I restarted it it will not boot at all. I tried booting to safe mode and it loaded safe mode but after about ten seconds it rebooted and would not boot up again.
I guess my question is how do I get all the settings back to the basic so it will boot again? I am running a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R mother board. Do you need to know anything else? Please help as I cannot get it to boot!
Woot, thanks. I had already went to work to use my computer there and I printed out your wonderful guide and I had pulled the CMOS battery and hit the reset switch. I will try to do it your way after I study it up some =) Thanks so much for the wonderful info!
