I play counter strike 1.6 and condition zero and source.

My setup is as follows:
Athlon 64 x2 6000+ 3.0 GHz Processor
EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB Hard Drive
ASUS M2N-E AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix 2GB DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Memory
Im running XP pro

I get good solid 100 FPS most of the time but its not quite as stable as id like. Also my ping could be improved in my opinion. What upgrades could fix these two issues?

What is your ping that you feel it needs to improved? Have you checked other servers?
Use the TOOLs over @ http://www.dslreports.com/tools

In what way is your stability a problem? What power supply are you using?
More than likely you'll need to check your hardware drivers and fine tune your software rather than replace hardware.

I live in Chicago and switched from Comcast to At&t, my ping is about 10 higher now in chicago even though i have the Elite package. idk if what is causing it
