Question about i5-750 vs i7-860 differences Tags: CPUs Intel i7 Intel i5 Overclocking Last response: September 20, 2009 7:07 AM in Overclocking Share Godzealot September 13, 2009 11:57:50 AM So let me get this straight, the only difference between i5-750 vs i7-860 is hyperthreading, and default speeds? There's no other difference right? So say if you OC both to exactly 3.8Ghz, and then run a game that doesn't use hyperthreading at all, the performance on these will be exactly the same? But I've seen people report easily breaking 4.1ghz on the i5 with the coolermaster 212 cpu fan and minor voltage changes. | Report abuse Register or log in to remove Ask the community Publish Tom's Hardware>Forum>Overclocking>Question about i5-750 vs i7-860 differences> Related ressources: ForumCore i5-750 vs .
