Having trouble adapting an IDE HDD into a SATA

Im trying to use and adapter that turns an IDE HDD into a SATA having some issues here. I am able to power the tower up and everything looks good but the display isnt working im not sure if there are driver issues or not since i swapped the conversion into a different tower and it at least got the screen to work and a boot error. Please tell me if anyone knows or if any more info can be of help thanks in advance.

the drive isnt affecting the screen, thats annother problem. I reccomend trying to get it to work first as a slave drive on a pc that already has a working drive, and then maybe you can use it as a main drive, but i would reccomend a modern sata 7200rpm at least for a main drive

hard drives are not very expensive these days, keep that in mind
