That is great! Great call on everything, though the power supply may actually be overkill. I have a a P5qPro, q9450 oc'd, Radeon 4850, 2x 500GB drives, 2 optical drives and 4gb ram, (plus 6 fans), and my computer only draws about 350W at load.

Good call on the mobo, Asus mobos ROCK! Go for the P5Q Pro, I think it is the sweet spot. P5Q deluxe is overkill.

i'd get the q6600 much cheaper and barely any performance difference. also it's a really good overclocker.

Also vista ultimate is like 20 bucks more and will give you the media center functionality and a few other extra goodies. worth it IMO for media center alone.

I agree, the PSU is overkill. but for that price, I couldn't find too much quality PSUs aside from this antec one and a bunch of lower watt / 12v so i figured I'd stay with the more powerful Antec.

Hows that q9450 OC?
