Please tell me what you think (is it good, what parts are bad and what should i change) about this computer configuration:

CPU: AMD Athlon x2 3000+

Motherboard: GA-MA770-DS3, amd 770

Graphic Card: Gigabyte GeForce 9600gt 256bit, 1gb ram

HDD : 500gb Western digital 7200 rpm

RAM ddrII 4gb 800mhz

Case - 450 w

That CPU is very slow.
What are you intending to do with this system and what is your budget?

You've got the basics of a nice machine there. Stick a 6000+ in there and it's pretty much sorted I would guess. Or if you are on a budget get s 4x50 and wait until the next gen quads come out.

Also make sure you get a good QUALITY PSU. The one's that come with the case are usually cr@p.
