On power-off the board seems to hold power on all ports on backplate, i.e. not power down USB, PS2 etc. ports. Happens both on back and front ports.

I have tried disable a number of items in Bios (i.e. keyboard and mouse power on, no lan boot etc.) and in Vista to no avail.

Does anyone know how to make sure power goes off the board, when I turn off power?

Any hints appreciated.

Splendid
I'm not 100% positive about this, but I believe this is normal behavior - the 'power on (kbd, lan, whatever)' features require that the ports be held in an active state; turning off the option simply makes the board ignore that particular interrupt. Why are you concerned about this?

Because of CO2 reductions :)

I am using - or trying to use - an eco friendly power strip. It works by connecting to a USB port and thus it "knows" when I turn off the computer. It then automatically turns off all connected items, in my case my monitor, printer, speakers, label printer etc. I can then save money on my electrical bill. And reduce CO2 at the same time :)

But it's not working unless power is off from the USB port....
