Hey guys, I don't know if there is something I am doing wrong but my connection is nowhere near what I pay for.

I bought the fastest service Comcast offers. I am using a wireless router (Netgear Rangemax)

When I do a test it says I get anything from 1500Kb/sec to 1900Kb/sec.

I understand that a wireless router signal will be somewhat less than a wired connection, but I can set this thing right next to the router and get the same.

I want to be able to click on any streaming HD video on the net and have it immediately play without stalling every few seconds.

Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong. I know very little to nothing about wireless setups and would love any help at all.

Thanks

Well..to watch video's there are third party softwares that speed up buffering.
-when you say 1500kb/sec to 1900kb/sec did you mean kilobits or kilobytes? I am pretty sure all tests give you results in bits, but i just want to make sure.
