I did the lvl up to 3.8 on my Phen IIx4 955 BE with the X-Hair III formula mobo. What range should the load temps be in. As of an hr in the AMD load exc. CPU core 0-3 are at 54C and Asus CPU temp is 47c. The voltage seems kinda high for the cpu lvl up its at 1.48. Does all this info sound right? Also I seem to have a crappy Benchmark of 9,000 in the AMD Overdrive software. I have 32-bit Vista OS.

Temps are a little high but livable, the 955 is good to 62c. CPU is good to 1.5v spec, although 1.48 seems a little high for a @3.8 MHz clock speed. Leaving the voltage on auto always puts more volts then needed, you may try lowering it to 1.45 manually and see if you still have stability, which in turn will lower temps a hair.

Not many people use or post scores of AOD benchmark. It only runs a short time, so I wouldn't put to much stock into it.

The temperature is dangerously high. The max temp on phenoms II is usually 75c~. Soo I recommend getting another cooler, or clocking it down some.

Usually overclocking doesnt do much towards the life of a CPU, but at 60c+ it changes things since the chip itself will fluctuate in temperatures causing damage to the chip after extended periods of use.
