Well, I'm guessing Gateway is about as popular as a hole in the head (or Dell where I am). There seems to be little information out there about the motherboard and BIOS menus. A pdf of the manual would be good, but I can only find a user guide.
So you're limited to raising the clock from 200MHz to whatever you can squeeze of of it. Most of these Phenom 9xxx's can groan out an extra 0.4 to 0.6GHz from stock without too much hassle.
It would be good to have some idea of the BIOS menu and settings to help further.
Yeah, I bet it is locked, is there a way to do it inside the OS? I still haven't gotten the computer, but it has vista and I will be installing windows 7 RC and XP alongside vista. I have no idea of the motherboard, but I will check as soon as it arrives.
