When I installed starcraft (i know old as ****), it worked fine. Broodwar however doesn't seem to work. Autorun doesn't pop up and when I explore the drive, it opens it and shows the files but instantly locks up and tells me "D:/ is not a valid win32 application" I have xp 64 so I thought that was the problem, but online others are saying that broodwar works with 64. Does anyone know a way to get this to work. If not, does anyone know why the expansion will not work but the original will?

It sounds like your disc might be bad. I had no issues installing either Starcraft or Broodwar on my tower running Vista x64. If you can, try borrowing a disc from a friend.

I have same issue but it is connected with playing mp3 - after i reinstalled windows i cant access any music file.

I have my hard divided into two partitions... and i also regularly get BSOD with 0x000000f4 problem.
