Hello,
I have downloaded the latest driver from ATI for dual hd2600xt's and my puter keeps freezing. I completely unistalled the old driver. nothing seems to help. The DOS screen says something about the ATI2dvag file. Will someone help?
Erase all the ATI related files and registry keys . Use CCleaner ( freeware ) to do this .
Use http://www.drivercleaner.net/ to delete all the ATI drivers .
You may need to boot into safe mode to do this . Disable your antivirus software during this ordeal .
Also ... you MAY need to underclock your GPU and Graphics Memory ( using ATI Tool ) by a 5-10 % .
