I had a previous router in my network. Everything worked. I have 4 cables. Internet to router, Pc to router, PS3 to router, Vonage hub to router. They all work with my old router.

When I substitute it out with my DGL-4100, nothing except my modem to router connection even has an LED for connectivity. I swap out the cable I got with the router with the current PC-router wire. It works. I connected this wire to all 4 ports. They all work.

Can anyone tell me why the hell certain wires would not work with this router? If so, is there any way to fix it or is this just a defective router?
