List what you want to do with your Computer.

So you want to build a computer. There are things you will have to know before starting to choose the parts to put in your machine. List the apps you are going to run and the min requirements to run them. Ask yourself do I want to spend tons of money just for bragging rights or do I need to budget my computer to fit my needs.
Might I sugest that you find the parts that will do what you need done then come back to Tom's and check the benchmarks and reviews of those parts campared to others of similar stats to make the best choices.
