Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L mobo
Antec earthwatts 430w PSU
Crucial Ballistix 2gb (2x1gb) DDR2 800
ASUS EN8500GT TOP graphics
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250gb sata 3.0gb/s
Intel Core 2 duo E6750 2.66 ghz
Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro fan
This was my first build and everything was running great until the plug was accidentally pulled from the wall outlet with the system still running. After plugging it back in and powering up, I was receiving no signal to the monitor. All I get now is a continuous beeping during what should be POST. The gigabyte manual suggests this is a "power error", however the system powers up, all fans spin, hard drive hums, DVD-RW receives power, etc. The only clue I can think of as to what went wrong is that now the power and hdd LED lights don't turn on. I've reset CMOS, re-seated memory every way possible, removed/re-seated vid card, basically stripped the board down to the minimum, and yet I still only get the continuous short beeps. This may be a very "rookie" question but I'd appreciate any help I could get.
