I am building a new PC and had been posting questions in another forum here but think it's evolved into a thread that should be in this section. I'm wanting to build a fast&quiet pc, lowest power consumption possible without jeopardizing the performance, and if at all possible all "lead-free" components. The idea is to have a quiet gaming PC that's environmental friendly. Keep in mind also my monitor/hdtv I'm using has a max resolution of 1366x768. The component I'm really not anywhere sure about is the graphics card... although I want it quiet so people mentioned I needed to go with passive cooling because of that and the my max resolution limit. Games I want to be able to play are Starcraft2/Diablo3/Spore. Thanks for reading and trying to help out, much appreciated!
Is it truly very quiet? Because I purchased an 8600gt (i believe) a while back when they first came out, and it is sorta noisy when idle -- but once it opens a game it becomes EXTREMELY noisy. So just trying to get rid of all the noise possible and I hear passive cooling would do that for me.
A cooler like the msi one posted above does not use the reference cooler and will be much quieter as a result. Passive cooling relies on the airflow of the case to cool the card and the case you picked doesn't look like it could do the job. IF it were me i'd go with a nice active cooling solution. A little noise from the card will be better then a card that overheated.

Alright, I'm going to go with the MSI card. Is there anything else in the list above that I might want to consider over another? Thanks guys been a great help!
I think I'm gonna post this last build and see if there are any objections to anything. I want to order tonight so... yup should be nice! TY for all your help!
