Hi guys i want to discuss about my i7 overclock using default voltages.

I able to set BLCK to 200 x 20, turbo off and booted up the 4ghz, but as soon as i run prime 95 it would crash within 15 mins reaching a top temp of 75degrees c. Meaning i would probably have to up the voltage to get it stable.

But when i use a BLCK of 190 x 20 AND keep turbo on, when i run prime 95 the multi would hit x21 and i get a effective 4ghz overclock without crashing and temps were better @ 68degrees c

Would keeping the turbo on be a better solution?

Also on the power vs performance review @ http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/overclock-core-i7,2268.html
it is stated that 3.66ghz(183x20 /w no turbo) was the most efficient gain but it they didnt do one with 3.66ghz with turbo..

I was wondering if 3.66ghz + turbo would be more efficient then the one tom's guide recommended?
