i have a treo 600. i would like to use it to download images to my mac
that have been saved to a sd card. i put the card in the slot, and see
the jpg files under the smart phone's "card info" menu, but cannot
determine to view -- and access -- the files from the mac via the palm
desktop or even through the mac system profiler [and looking at the
usb port]. import, export and merge don't work. in the finder, the sd
card appears under docs, palm, users, files to install, sd card ---
but the folder when accessed here appears empty. and it is not. ....
anyone know how to deal with this?

The only way I know of to do this would be to use a card reader. Put
your SD card into the card reader, plug it into the Mac's USB port and
the jpgs should be in a folder on the card. Drag them onto your Mac
desktop or wherever. Card readers only cost $25 or so.
