Does anyone know if my asus m2n sli motherboard would be holding back my 9800 gx2 graphics card??? the motherboard features an onboard nforce 560 sli chipset and i was wondering would it be a bottleneck to the 9800 gx2. Note that there is only one graphics card but it is operating in sli because of the 9800 gx2 having two gpu's in one???

560SLI only have 8x slots

So yes it would be, however, i think your more pressing bottleneck would be your CPU

actually i have 590 sli....sorry about the confusion but just checked the stats. CPU really holding it back??? What would you recommend to get the best out of the card...Switch to intel motherboard...maybe 780 or 790 chipset???
