Hey all, i need help picking out my motherboard.

here are my specs:

CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0
RAM - OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB DDR2
Heatsink - Thermalright TRUE
PSU - SILVERSTONE SST-ST60F 600W
Case - Antec P182
Video Card - ATI Radeon 4850

I will not be using Crossfire, but i will be overclocking my Q6600.

Many people told me to get the P35 chipset, but since the P45 was released. i dont know what to pick now.

Budget will be around maybe 120$

Look at the biostar boards, i love mine and they are in your price range- the t series

P45 and although most people don't recommend the Biostar mobos i'm very happy with mine, very easy to use and posted no problem. Alternate choice would be a Gigabytpe P45 DS3L at $108 or an Asus P5Q at $130 (Asus seems to have done a good job on the P45 boards)

i've seen recommendations on the Gigabyte P43 board, but I'm not sure how it OCs.

Biostar TP43HP. P43/45 hits 400fsb with no sweat whatsoever. If you're overclocking a Q6600, you'll be able to reach 3.2ghz, assuming you get a decent chip, without any hassle. This board is cheap, has nice heatpipe cooling, very easy OC features, and it isn't Asus-YAYY!
