Pentium 4 3.2ghz (i know old peice of junk)
A peice of junk motherboard - MSI- MS- 7058-i915p-82801FB-PCI express x16-Intel socket 775 LGA
2 Gigs ddr2 667mhz
600 W PSU
500G Hardrive

Im wanting to upgrade my video card and/or my processor.
If i upgarde im looking for these...

9600gt 512mb oced to 675mhz core http://www.directcanada.com/produc [...] acture=BFG

Or a whole new computer
Im wanting to play crysis warhead on very high settings
The new fifa 09 next gen maxed out
Call of duty 5 World at War maxed out or nearly

The psu that comes with the case is not recommended, would go with a high quality psu or risk losing your investment with a **** psu. Mobo looks fine, video should be fine as well, would recommend the wd 640 it isn't that much more (www.infonec.com)

you dont need a new hard drie as you already have one and the 4850 is a better card than the 9600GT for around the same money.

I agree with Shadowthor about the power supply. Need a good quality Power supply. to me this is the most important item in your computer to keep it running steady and working good.

BUY a new board Intel 915p chipset does not support Dual Core chips... It doesn't even support cidar mill processors. It has something to do with VRM...

Would be great getting Intel P35 based board...

Get the new system... its your only choice...that board aint receive upgrades with Dual core chips...

meh, i can save 100$ more and get a better vid card when e5200 comes out and the prices go down a bit more.
Or wait till Nov or so till i get more money to buy a 1000-1500$ pc, which i probably will do.
Or Just buy this one, whichever works.
