:hello: Hey, how are you? Now listen to the sad story of my Radeon X700 (256Mb).
Once it stopped displaying in a usual way and began displaying in the way that you can see on these pictures:

I've been using it for one and a half year yet. It was a new one when I bought it. No problem I had before. Nothing happened. I just restarted the pc and got what you see.
The interesting point is that. I unplugged the videocard and plugged in my very old pci videocard (not pci-e, but a usual pci one). It was all right then. A few days went by, and I decided to try whether my "new" card really died. So I unplugged the old pci card and plugged this X700 again, to test if it would work by chance. Yes, it worked fine. Again, a clear picture with no white puzzles and no distortion. I was happy.
But the next day, after I turned on my pc, again, I saw the same picture as you may see on the photos.
I plugged and unplugged it again and again but it didnt work any more.
Any suggestions, huh?

the card is ati (saphire) X700. here you can see what it is like:

Try the x700 in another machine if possible. Possibility of one of two things, your power supply is failing or your video memory is overheating. Card may be zapped too.
