I have a asus p6t deleuxe v2 mobo with a i7 920 cpu. How can i overclock with the xmp feature. I tried setting it to it before but it didnt seem to do anything

Read Section 3.4.1 of your Mobo Manual. Which it says you need to Asus Ai Overclocker Turner to select XMP memory settings for OC'ing.
