Here’s the issue replaced 2 9600GT in SLI with a Visiontec 4870 with the lastest drivers
8.8 connected with DFI cable but the DVD play back on my SyncMaster 24in Samsung is not very sharp its looks graine
Compared to the 9600. I even wasted 60 buck on power dvd8 and no improvement went back to ATI
For the Image and gaming power even had a part in COD4 drop to 14 fps? , every things set on defult
other that the card seems fine Any ideas thanks wdmso

i dunno dude what temps is ur card running at? maybe that card is over heating? its a great card, the 2 x 9600gt's was still prolly a good system, waste of a upgrade if u ask me, just return the 4870 an w8 a few more months to really get ur moneys worth an seperate u performance wise further from those sli'd 9600's.

@mlsde886 - complete moron! 2x9600 are much slower than 4870 !
@wdmso - dude, try to reset settings for Catalyst Control Center to defaults! ATIs AVIVO is well known as best viewing quality for HDDVDs and BlueRay DVDs. It's sounds like settings missconfiguration to me.

Gotta ask.... did you COMPLETELY uninstall your Nvidia graphics drivers and any other software that came with it, which may affect the Radeon?
